Ingredients
Scale
Juice Ice Cubes
- ¾ cup orange juice
- ¾ cup pink grapefruit juice
Cocktail
- 2 ounces Aperol
- 2 ounces tequila
- 1 ½ ounces orange juice
- 1 ounce pink grapefruit juice
- Juice of one lime
- Orange or grapefruit slices, mint, and squeeze of lime juice (for garnish)
Instructions
- Make the juice ice cubes: Fill half of an empty ice cube tray with orange juice and the other half with pink grapefruit juice. Place the tray in the freezer and freeze completely to create flavorful ice cubes.
- Add ingredients to blender: Once the juice ice cubes are frozen, place them in a blender along with the 2 ounces Aperol, 2 ounces tequila, 1 ½ ounces orange juice, 1 ounce pink grapefruit juice, and the juice of one lime.
- Blend until smooth: Blend all the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Pour the blended cocktail into glasses, garnish with orange or grapefruit slices, fresh mint, and an extra squeeze of lime juice, then serve immediately.
Notes
- Freezing the citrus juices creates flavorful ice cubes that chill the margarita without diluting it.
- Adjust the amount of tequila or Aperol to your personal taste preference.
- Garnish with fresh mint and citrus slices to enhance presentation and aroma.
- Use fresh-squeezed juices for the best flavor.
