Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Prepare dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
