Description

These Cheesy Garlic Butter Rollups are a deliciously savory and easy-to-make appetizer or side dish. Flaky crescent roll dough is filled with a cheesy garlic butter mixture and baked until golden brown. Perfect for parties or a fun twist on breadsticks!

Ingredients

Scale

For the rollups:

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the garlic butter mixture:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the garlic butter mixture: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with minced garlic, parsley, salt, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Assemble the rollups: Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Brush each triangle with the garlic butter mixture. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over each triangle. Roll up each triangle and place on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake: Brush the rollups with more garlic butter and bake for 10–12 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
  5. Serve: Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with marinara sauce if desired.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize with different cheeses like cheddar or provolone.
  • For a heartier option, add a slice of pepperoni or ham before rolling.
  • Great for parties or as a side for pasta dishes.
