- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 tablespoon maraschino cherry juice
Instructions
- Prepare the Batter: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan. In a medium bowl, combine the dry ingredients. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar, then add eggs, sour cream, milk, vanilla, and cherry juice.
- Combine Ingredients: Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in cherries and nuts. Pour into the loaf pan.
- Bake: Bake for 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
