Description

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin pan with cupcake liners.
  2. Prepare dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine ingredients: Whisk together milk and sour cream. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Bake: Divide batter among cupcake liners and bake for 18 to 20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before frosting.
