Description

Indulge in these decadent Ferrero Rocher Cinnamon Rolls that combine the classic warmth of cinnamon rolls with the rich, chocolatey flavors of Ferrero Rocher chocolates, chocolate chips, and hazelnuts. Topped with creamy Nutella and a luscious chocolate drizzle, these cinnamon rolls are a perfect treat for any chocolate lover and guaranteed to impress at breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

Scale

Dough and Filling

  • 1 package refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (8 rolls)
  • 1/4 cup Ferrero Rocher chocolates, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup crushed hazelnuts
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Topping

  • 1/4 cup Nutella or hazelnut spread

Drizzle

  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish to prepare for baking the cinnamon rolls.
  2. Prepare the cinnamon rolls: Open and unroll the refrigerated cinnamon roll dough. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon, then spread this mixture evenly over each unrolled dough piece.
  3. Fill with Ferrero Rocher: Evenly sprinkle the chopped Ferrero Rocher chocolates, chocolate chips, and crushed hazelnuts over the cinnamon rolls, gently pressing them into the dough to secure the filling.
  4. Roll up and bake: Roll each cinnamon roll tightly back up and place them into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and fully cooked through.
  5. Top with Nutella: While the cinnamon rolls are baking, warm the Nutella or hazelnut spread in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds until softened. Once the rolls come out of the oven, drizzle the warm Nutella generously over them.
  6. Drizzle with chocolate: Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips and drizzle the melted chocolate over the cinnamon rolls for an extra decadent finish.
  7. Serve: Allow the cinnamon rolls to cool for a few minutes before serving warm and enjoying this deliciously indulgent treat.

Notes

  • You can substitute hazelnuts with chopped walnuts or pecans if preferred.
  • For a nut-free version, omit the hazelnuts and substitute Ferrero Rocher with a nut-free chocolate alternative.
  • Ensure to not overbake to keep rolls soft and gooey inside.
  • Warming the Nutella makes it easier to drizzle and spread over the rolls.
  • Serve fresh and warm for the best taste and texture.
