Croissants:
- 8 store-bought or homemade croissants
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Pistachio Filling:
- 1 cup pistachio flour or finely ground pistachios
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup whole milk
For Garnish:
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)
- 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Pistachio Filling: Cream together butter and sugar. Add pistachio flour, eggs, extracts, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- Fill the Croissants: Slice each croissant, brush with milk, fill with pistachio mixture, and bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Finish and Serve: Dust with powdered sugar, sprinkle with chopped pistachios, and serve warm.
Notes
