- 12 slices mozzarella cheese
- 48 slices pepperoni

Instructions
- Prepare the Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the unsalted butter, grated parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix well until the mixture is smooth and evenly blended.
- Butter the Bread: Spread the prepared butter mixture evenly over one side of each of the 8 bread slices. Place the slices butter-side down on a tray, ready for assembling the sandwiches.
- Assemble the Sandwiches: On the non-buttered side of a bread slice, place one slice of mozzarella cheese. Layer 9 slices of pepperoni evenly on top, followed by another slice of mozzarella cheese, then another layer of pepperoni and finish with one more slice of mozzarella cheese. Top the stack with another slice of bread, butter-side facing out.
- Cook the Sandwich: Heat a 10-inch skillet on the stovetop over medium-low heat. Once hot, add the sandwich to the skillet. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then carefully flip with a spatula. Place a lid on the skillet to help melt the cheese and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until golden brown on the other side and the cheese is fully melted. Repeat this process for each sandwich.
