Ingredients
Scale
Ingredients
- 1 bag Pretzel Rods (about 36 rods)
- 1 cup Chocolate Almond Bark (melted, approximately 3 squares)
- Candy Eyes (36 pieces)
- Round Red Candy Sprinkles (36 pieces, for the nose)
Instructions
- Melt the Chocolate: Place the chocolate almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl and heat it in 15-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
- Dip Pretzel Rods: On a large piece of parchment paper, arrange the pretzel rods in pairs. Dip the ends of each pair into the melted chocolate, swirling gently to coat the ends and create a single solid chocolate base with the two pretzels sticking out to form antlers.
- Decorate Pretzels: While the chocolate is still wet, press a red candy sprinkle onto the end of the chocolate to form the reindeer’s nose. Place two candy eyes just above the nose on the chocolate surface.
- Set the Pretzels: Allow the reindeer pretzels to rest on the parchment paper until the chocolate hardens completely, approximately one hour at room temperature.
- Serve and Enjoy: Once set, transfer the reindeer pretzels to a plate or tray for serving. Enjoy your festive holiday treat!
Notes
- Use parchment paper to prevent sticking during the setting process.
- If chocolate gets too thick, reheat in short intervals to maintain a smooth dipping consistency.
- Store the finished pretzels in a cool, dry place to keep the chocolate from melting.
- For an extra festive touch, add edible glitter or other candy decorations.
- Make sure to space pretzels apart on the parchment to avoid them sticking together.
