Description

These Rum and Coke Popsicles are a refreshing adult treat perfect for hot days or parties. Combining the bold flavors of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, Kahlua, and flattened Coca-Cola, they offer a sweet and boozy way to chill out. Easy to make and endlessly fun, these popsicles bring a classic cocktail to frozen form.

Ingredients

Scale

Alcoholic Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Captain Morgan Spiced Rum
  • 1/4 cup Kahlua

Other Ingredients

  • 2 cups Coca-Cola Flat (opened and left overnight to remove carbonation)
  • Popsicle Molds
  • Wooden Popsicle Sticks

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Pour the Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, Kahlua, and flattened Coca-Cola into a pitcher. Stir gently to mix all the flavors together evenly without creating foam.
  2. Fill Molds: Carefully pour the mixture into your popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing.
  3. Insert Sticks: Place the wooden popsicle sticks into each mold, ensuring they are centered and standing upright.
  4. Freeze: Place the filled molds in the freezer and let them freeze for several hours, ideally overnight, until completely solid.
  5. Unmold Popsicles: To remove, briefly run warm water on the outside of the molds for a few seconds to loosen the popsicles, then gently pull the sticks to release.

Notes

  • Ensure Coca-Cola is completely flat, as carbonation can affect freezing and texture.
  • Use high-quality molds for best shape and ease of removal.
  • Adjust the alcohol ratio slightly if you want firmer popsicles (less alcohol) or stronger flavor (more alcohol), but be aware it will impact freezing time and texture.
  • Store popsicles in an airtight container or cover molds to prevent freezer odors from affecting flavor.
