Description

A refreshing and vibrant Triple Berry Lemonade combining fresh strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries with tangy lemon juice and just the right amount of sweetness. Perfect for a summer gathering or a cool treat any time of the day.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruits

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)

Others

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold filtered water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the berries: Rinse the strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries under cold water and pat dry with a towel. Slice the larger strawberries into quarters to release more flavor.
  2. Juice the lemons: Squeeze the lemons to extract 1 cup of lemon juice, making sure to strain out any seeds to avoid bitterness and ensure smooth lemonade.
  3. Mix lemon juice and sugar: In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice with 3/4 cup granulated sugar. Stir thoroughly until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Add berries and water: Pour in the sliced and whole berries along with 4 cups of cold filtered water. Stir gently to blend the flavors without crushing the berries.
  5. Adjust flavor: Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or balance tartness by adding more water or lemon juice as preferred.
  6. Chill and serve: Refrigerate the lemonade for at least one hour before serving. Serve over ice and garnish with additional berries or lemon slices for an attractive presentation.

Notes

  • Adjust the sugar level based on the sweetness of your berries and personal preference.
  • For a sparkling version, replace the filtered water with sparkling water just before serving.
  • If you prefer a smoother texture, blend the berries before mixing with lemon juice and water.
  • Garnishing with fresh mint leaves adds a fresh aromatic touch.
  • Store the lemonade in the refrigerator and consume within 2 days for optimal freshness.
